Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/4 c. sour milk
2 eggs (unbeaten)
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
3/4 tsp. soda
1 1/2 c. rolled oats
1 c. crushed nuts
1 c. seedless raisins
Preparation

Combine brown sugar, salt, spices, milk and eggs.
Beat thoroughly.
Sift flour and soda.
Add to other mixture.
Add oats, nuts and raisins.
Drop onto pan.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
