Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. butter
    2 eggs
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Beat butter, shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla until fluffy.
    Add dry ingredients and blend well.
    Stir in chocolate chips.
    Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets about 2 inches apart.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes about 7 dozen.
