Ingredients

1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 3/4 c. orange juice
4 tsp. brown sugar
dash of ground allspice
1 1/2 c. quick cooking rice
Preparation

In a medium saucepan, stir together undrained pineapple, orange juice, brown sugar and allspice.
Bring to a boil; remove from heat and stir in rice.
Cover; let stand 5 minutes.
Transfer into 4 serving bowls.
Sprinkle with additional allspice, if desired.
Serves 4.
