Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. nuts (pecans or walnuts)
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
    Add flour gradually to which salt and soda have been added. Add bananas and vanilla; beat well.
    Add nuts, beating well. Pour in 4 greased and floured coffee tin cans (1 pound tins). Pour about 1/2 full.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour.
