Mexican Wedding Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    6 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    1 lb. powdered sugar (to coat cookies)
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and salt.
    Add vanilla, flour and nuts; mix well.
    Shape into balls the size of a walnut or smaller. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake approximately 12 minutes at 350\u00b0 (just long enough to hold dough together).
    Cool a little, then roll in powdered sugar.
    To coat them well, it may be necessary to roll them again when cooled.
    Makes 4 dozen.
