Date Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
1/2 Tbsp. baking soda
1 stick margarine
1 c. boiling water
2 c. sugar
1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
Preparation
-
Soak first 4 ingredients in mixing bowl for 10 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients.
Blend all together.
Pour into greased loaf pan.
Bake in oven at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
