Ingredients

2 egg whites
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. finely chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Add sugar gradually, then beat at high speed for 5 minutes.
Fold in vanilla, nuts and chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on foil-lined cookie sheet.
Put in oven and turn off heat.
Leave in oven at least 8 hours.
