Scotcheroo Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light Karo
    1 c. peanut butter
    6 c. Rice Krispies
    6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    6 oz. butterscotch bits
Preparation
    Heat sugar and Karo but do not boil.
    Add peanut butter.
    Add Rice Krispies.
    Stir well; press lightly into a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
    Melt over hot water in a double boiler the chocolate chips and butterscotch bits.
    Spread over mixture evenly.
