Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 egg
2 c. Rice Krispies
Preparation

Sift together flour, soda and salt and set aside.
Beat margarine and sugar until well blended and smooth.
Add egg and vanilla and beat well.
Add sifted dry ingredients and mix until combined.
Stir in Rice Krispies and chocolate morsels.
Drop by level tablespoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 12 minutes.
Remove immediately and cook on wire racks.
Makes 3 1/2 dozen 2 1/2-inch cookies.
