Irish Treacle Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2/3 c. flour
    1 2/3 c. oatmeal
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/3 c. raisins
    1 1/3 Tbsp. shortening
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. molasses
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients together in large bowl.
    Add milk, molasses, melted shortening and raisins; let stand 20 minutes so oatmeal will absorb some liquid.
    Put in greased bread loaf pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
