White Crisco Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

5 Tbsp. flour
1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
1 c. shortening
coconut (optional)

Preparation

Put flour and milk in saucepan and cook until thickened.
Set aside and let cool.
Cream together white sugar and shortening; add vanilla and beat well again.
Add to flour and milk mixture. Beat until cool.
Add coconut, if desired.
