Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. Crisco
1 Tbsp. vanilla
3 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
4 c. flour
1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates, chopped
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
Preparation
-
Roll into 3 rolls.
Let stand overnight in refrigerator until firm.
Slice and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until lightly browned.
I freeze mine and bake as needed.
