Italian Bread(Great As An Appetizer Or To Accompany Meal) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. Fontina (soft, white cheese)
    1 lb. Parmesan cheese
    1 medium purple onion, chopped fine
    1 small (16 oz.) jar mayonnaise
    Worcestershire sauce to taste
    4 garlic cloves or 2 Tbsp. garlic salt
    2 loaves French bread*
Preparation
    Grate cheeses.
    Mix with other ingredients.
    Slice French loaf lengthwise.
    Spread mixture on bread, covering to edges.
    Place on cookie sheet under broiler until bubbly.
    Slice into 1 1/2-inch pieces to serve.
