One, Two, Three, Four Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 scant c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add beaten egg yolks.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt slowly into mixture.
    Add milk and vanilla; beat well.
    Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into mixture.
    Bake in medium oven.
