Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. corn meal
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 c. water
    2 c. milk
    3 eggs, beaten well
Preparation
    Combine corn meal, salt, sugar, oil, water and half the milk in a saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
    Cool.
    Add eggs and the remaining milk.
    Pour into a hot greased baking dish, 1 1/2-quart size.
    Serve hot.
