1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. Confectioners Sugar (recipe in this section)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix butter, sugar and flavoring.
Blend in flour and salt. Shape dough into roll about 2 inches in diameter.
Roll in pecans. Wrap; chill for about 4 hours.
Cut roll into 1/8-inch slices; bake at 400\u00b0 for about 8 to 10 minutes or until slightly brown.
