Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. (ripe) mashed bananas
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
3/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar thoroughly.
Blend in bananas, eggs and vanilla.
Add sifted dry ingredients and buttermilk.
Mix well and add nuts.
Bake in a greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan for 1 hour and 30 to 45 minutes at 330\u00b0.
Use a toothpick to test center.
This is a very moist bread.
