Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sifted plain flour
    1 1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. pumpkin
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. soft butter
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Sift together flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Combine pumpkin, sugar, buttermilk and egg.
    Add the sifted dry ingredients and soft butter.
    Beat until well blended.
    Stir in nuts.
    Spread in a well-greased 4 x 8-inch loaf pan and two individual loaf pans. Bake the larger loaf for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350\u00b0 or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
