Canadian Lemon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. Crisco
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
grated rind of 1 lemon (1 tsp.)
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream together Crisco and sugar.
Add lemon rind and eggs; mix.
Add sifted dry ingredients and milk alternately.
Bake at 350\u00b0 in a greased and floured loaf pan for about 50 minutes. After baking and cooling slightly, spread with glaze.
