Dutch Apple Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Sift flour; add baking powder, salt and sugar; sift again.
Cut soft butter into dry ingredients as for pastry.
Add beaten egg and milk.
Beat until well blended.
Spread in greased shallow pan (8 x 12-inch).
Press apple slices on top and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
