Ingredients

1 lb. butter or margarine
1 lb. dark brown sugar (16 oz. pkg.)
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. vanilla
3 eggs
6 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
24 oz. chocolate chips
2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream together butter/margarine and the sugars.
Add vanilla and eggs.
Beat 3 minutes with mixer.
Add flour, salt and baking soda.
Beat together.
Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
Don't beat.
(Secret:
Cover cookie sheets with aluminum foil or use \"our bake\" cookie sheets.)
Drop dough by spoonful (tablespoon) onto cookie sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes or until done.
