Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. margarine
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt (may omit)
3 c. quick oats, uncooked
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine sugar, milk, margarine, cocoa and salt in a large saucepan.
Bring to rolling boil for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and quickly mix in peanut butter until melted.
Add vanilla and oats.
Beat until thick.
Drop on greased cookie sheet by teaspoon or place in 2 greased 8 x 8-inch pans and cut in squares after cooling.
