English Muffin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. warm water
    1 pkg. yeast
    5 1/2 c. unsifted flour (about)
    cornmeal
Preparation
    Scald milk; stir in sugar, salt and margarine.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Measure warm water into a large bowl; sprinkle in yeast.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Stir in lukewarm milk mixture.
    Add 3 cups of flour; beat until smooth.
    Add enough additional flour to make a soft dough.
    Turn out onto floured board.
    Knead 2 minutes. Place in greased bowl.
    Cover; let rise until doubled.
    Punch down.
    Divide in half.
    Shape into 2 loaves.
    Roll each loaf in cornmeal.
    Place in 2 greased loaf pans. Cover; let rise until doubled.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until done.
    Remove from baking pans; cook on wire racks.
    Slice and toast.
