Brunch Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bread
    1 lb. breakfast sausage or bacon
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    6 eggs
    1 pt. half and half or 1 c. half and half and 1 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Line 9 x 13-inch glass dish with bread.
    Fry sausage and spread on top of bread, then top with cheese.
    Beat eggs, salt and dry mustard together.
    Add half and half.
    Pour mixture over bread, meat and cheese.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Serves 12.
