Ingredients

1 lb. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
4 c. flour
Preparation

Cream together butter and powdered sugar.
Add flour gradually.
Roll dough into small balls and dip in powdered sugar. Place on non-greased cookie sheet and crisscross with a fork. Bake in 300\u00b0 oven until slightly brown.
The dough may also be pressed into a shortbread mold.
