Ingredients

1/2 c. dry apricots, chopped
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. dates, chopped
1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice
1 1/2 c. oats
1 tsp. soda
dash of salt
1 egg
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. sunflower seeds or other nuts
Preparation

Combine apricots, raisins, dates and juice in pan.
Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
Stir occasionally.
Remove from heat and cool.
Mix other ingredients until well blended.
Stir into fruit mixture.
Form into small balls or drop from teaspoon onto baking sheet covered with foil.
Flatten to 1/4 inch and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
Cool.
