Lemon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. lemon peel, grated
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and milk to creamed mixture and mix well.
In a
separate bowl, combine dry ingredients with lemon peel.
Slowly stir dry ingredients into creamed mixture and mix well.
Pour batter into a greased and floured loaf pan and bake for approximately 30 minutes in a 350 oven, or until bread tests done.
