Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    2 tsp. baking powder
    4 Tbsp. milk
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts or 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well, adding milk gradually.
    Stir in nuts.
    Form into rolls and wrap in wax paper.
    Chill 2 hours and slice and bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
