Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
4 c. flour
10 Tbsp. buttermilk
2 c. mashed bananas (5 or 6)
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts, chopped fine
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Cream shortening.
Add sugar and eggs.
Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Add alternately with milk.
Fold in bananas, vanilla and nuts.
Grease sides and bottoms of 2 loaf pans.
Cut wax paper to fit bottom of pan (grease paper).
Pour in mixture and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
