Ingredients

1/2 c. cocoa
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. milk
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
3 c. Quick-cooking oatmeal
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 c. coconut, raisins or nuts, optional
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients in saucepan; bring to a boil.
Boil for 1 minute.
Add remaining ingredients.
Mix well.
Drop on waxed paper by teaspoonfuls or place in 9 x 13 inch pan and cut when cool.
May be cooled in refrigerator.
Yield 2-3 1/2 doz. cookies.
