Ingredients

1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 1/4 c. pecan halves
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients, stirring well. Add flour and salt, stirring well. Stir in pecans. Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Do not overbake.
