Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. Wesson oil
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar until fluffy.
Add the other ingredients in order listed.
Stir until well blended.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Dip the bottom of a glass in granulated sugar and press cookies slightly.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 7 minutes (do not overbake).
Cool on wire racks.
