Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked pie shell
    1 can unsweetened milk
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs, well beaten
    nutmeg or cinnamon
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Mix milk, water, salt and vanilla.
    Add eggs; mix well.
    Pour in shell.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg. Bake for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and bake 25 to 30 minutes, until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
    Cool to room temperature.
    Chill.
    Refrigerate any left over.
