Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
2 3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. ripe mashed bananas (4 is best)
Preparation

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Add nuts.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs (beat well).
Add flour with bananas.
Blend thoroughly.
Grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake 60 minutes at 350\u00b0. Let bread cool in pan 20 minutes.
