Gingersnaps(Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. solid shortening
    1 egg
    1/4 c. Brer Rabbit molasses
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add egg, molasses and spices; mix well.
    Add flour, soda and salt; mix well.
    Take 1 rounded teaspoonful of batter and make in ball and roll in granulated sugar and place on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes (no longer).
    Remove from oven and leave on cookie sheet 1 minute before removing to plate or cloth.
