Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. light molasses
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 egg
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. liquid vegetable oil (yes, this is correct!)
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together well.
Roll dough into one-inch balls.
Roll balls in small amount of granulated sugar lightly to coat.
Place on an ungreased baking sheet approximately 2 inches apart.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
These are soft cookies, reminding one of a gingersnap.
