Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. all purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. butter, softened
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. white sugar
    2 (3.4 oz.) pkg. of instant vanilla pudding mix
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips or chocolate chunks
    2 c. walnuts, chopped (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Sift together flour and baking soda, set aside. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in chocolate chips or chunks and nuts. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.
