Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. sour cream
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; gradually add eggs and mix well.
Stir in sour cream and add dry ingredients which have been sifted together.
Chill thoroughly.
Roll out.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Do not overbake; cookies should not be brown.
