Ingredients

1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine, creamed
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
1 tsp. cinnamon, optional
1 1/2 c. flour, unsifted
4 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 lb. dates, chopped
1/2 lb. candied pineapple, yellow
1/2 lb. candied pineapple, red
1/2 lb. candied cherries
4 Tbsp. whiskey
Preparation

Cream together the butter, sugar, brown sugar and eggs.
Mix dates, pineapple, cherries and nuts with 1/2 cup flour, mix well, add whiskey.
Mix all ingredients together and drop by teaspoon onto slightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 18-20 minutes.
Makes 8 dozen cookies. These freeze well.
