Ingredients

1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 pkg. chocolate bits
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream margarine, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Add eggs; beat well.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Beat well.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool and eat.
