Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. sugar
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. walnuts
2 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. coconut, shredded
Preparation

Melt margarine.
Add dates, sugar and egg.
Cook on stove over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and add vanilla, walnuts and Rice Krispies.
Mix well.
Shape into balls and roll in coconut.
Cool on cookie sheet.
