Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. chocolate chips (optional)
1/2 c. sour milk (add little vinegar to milk to sour)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. mashed bananas
2 eggs, unbeaten
1/3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar together.
Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with sour milk.
Add mashed bananas and nuts.
Pour into 2 loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 45 minutes to 1 hour until done.
Cool 5 minutes and remove from pans.
