Ingredients

1/4 c. butter flavor Crisco
1 Tbsp. salt
1/4 c. regular Crisco
2 Tbsp. milk
1/4 c. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. soda
1 1/2 to 2 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Combine Crisco, sugar, margarine and milk in large bowl.
Beat at medium speed with mixer until creamy. Beat egg into creamed mixture.
Combine dry ingredients and mix into creamed mixture until just blended.
Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes. Yields about 4 dozen.
