Fruitcake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 whole eggs
    2/3 c. butter
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 1/4 c. bourbon
    1/2 lb. dates, chopped
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    2 each: red and green candied pineapple
    5 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Beat eggs, sugar and butter well.
    Add bourbon and soda.
    Sift flour with salt and spices; add to batter.
    Sprinkle some of the flour over nuts and fruits.
    Carefully combine all ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet and bake at 300\u00b0 for about 20 minutes or until desired brown is obtained.
    Makes about 100 cookies.
