Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter Crisco
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. raisins
3/4 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Stir in dry ingredients.
Cover and refrigerate at least one hour.
