Quick Cheese Bread - cooking recipe

3 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. coarsely grated sharp Cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. yeast
2 Tbsp. margarine, softened
1 1/4 c. hot water
Preparation

Set aside 1 cup flour.
Mix remaining flour and other dry ingredients, including yeast, in a large bowl. Stir margarine and water into dry mix.
Mix in only enough reserved flour to make very thick batter. Cover and let rest 10 minutes. Turn batter into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Cover and let rise in warm place until double in size, about 30 to 45 minutes. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until done. Remove and cool on wire rack.
