Almond Joy Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box chocolate cake mix
    2 c. sugar
    1 (16 oz.) sour cream
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen coconut
    1 1/2 c. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix as per box instructions.
    Make cake into 2 layers.
    Split 2 layers to make 4 once baked.
    Mix sugar, sour cream and coconut, setting 1 cup mixture aside.
    Place mixture between all layers stacking cake.
    Use mixture set aside for top of cake.
