Bread Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 c. cornmeal
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 c. milk
    1 beaten egg
    1/4 c. oil
Preparation
    Sift together the dry items (flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt).
    Stir in chopped pepper and onion.
    Add milk, egg and oil.
    Mix until well combined.
    Pour into hot, well greased cornstick or muffin pans.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes approximately 14 sticks.
