Mother'S Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    1 c. sweet milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter
    4 eggs, separated
Preparation
    Mix cornmeal, milk, salt and butter.
    Cook into a mush.
    Add egg yolks.
    Beat until light.
    Stir in egg whites, beaten stiff. Pour in greased casserole and set in pan of water and bake.
    It takes about 45 minutes to bake in a rather hot oven.
    Serves 4 or 5.
