Ingredients

1 c. butter, softened
2 c. flour (measure before sifting)
1 c. pecans, chopped fine
2 tsp. vanilla
confectioners sugar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Sift flour.
Combine butter and flour, using a wooden spoon or your hands, until mixture is thoroughly mixed.
Stir in nuts and vanilla.
Mixture will be quite stiff.
